The HOPE worldwide Indianapolis Chapter partners with Rise Church to hold events throughout the year that bring hope and change to the lives of the poor, sick, and suffering in the Indianapolis area.

Pantry of Hope at Rise Church

On the Saturdays listed below, the Pantry of Hope at Rise Church will provide a drive-thru model for food distribution.  The HOPE worldwide Indianapolis Chapter supports the Pantry of Hope with volunteers to manage the pantry.

 

  • Located on-site at Rise Church 6001 W. 52nd Street Indianapolis, IN 46254. The Pantry of Hope will be open  10 a.m. – 12 p.m (while supplies last) for Drive-Thru food distribution.  The days and hours could change, please follow us on Facebook or check back here for any updates!

Volunteers

Volunteers are important to us and without them these events wouldn't be possible.  Volunteer opportunities are available on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month (Days listed above). You can volunteer by selecting the Volunteer Signup button.

  •  Volunteers who have NOT registered to the event via Volunteerhub, completed screenings and signed waiver, should not be brought to the event. They should sign up individually! **If you are sick, please stay home! In the event you can't make it to the event any longer, please notify our team immediately by contacting: theharpools@gmail.com.

  • Financial donations help The Pantry of Hope with needed food items on each service day.  HOPE worldwide provides support for donations and provides oversight on their use.  To donate to the Pantry of Hope, click here and specify US Chapters as the campaign and in the comments, please indicate Indianapolis Chapter and in the comment section add "Donation for Pantry of Hope at Rise Church".

  • Donations can also be dropped off Monday- Friday in the brown box in between double doors. Address: 6001 W. 52nd Street Indianapolis, IN 46254 ;  Please follow CDC guidelines while dropping off items.

  • Wash your hands often.
  • Don’t touch your eyes, nose or mouth.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes with your elbow.
  • If you are sick, please stay home.
  • Practice social distancing and keep 6 ft. away from others when possible. Only we can flatten the curve by not congregating with groups of people.
  • Listen to orders from your local government and health officials to stay home during times of non-essential travel.

We need these items for each monthly Drive-Thru Food Pantry:

  • Canned chicken and tuna
  • Canned veggies (Green beans, peas, corn, etc)
  • Creamed soups (Cream of Chicken, Cream of Mushroom)
  • Soups (Chicken and Rice, Chicken Noodle)
  • Canned black beans
  • Canned chili with beans
  • Pasta Sauce (24 oz)
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned fruit (Pears, peaches, applesauce, etc.)


We are also need some specialty items such as:

  • Baby items:
  • Diapers (Sizes 2-6)
  • Baby wipes
  • Baby food
  • Baby soap.
  • Feminine products
  • Boxes (16x11x10 approx)
