“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
John 13:34-35 NIV
Each member of our fellowship has studied the scriptures and made an informed decision to embrace the following core values.
Love:
Matthew 22:34-40 WE BELIEVE—in keeping with the two greatest commandments—that we must prioritize loving God and our neighbors. We embrace this in our daily walk with God and in a lifestyle of service to our family and community.
Grace & Truth: John 1:14 WE BELIEVE
that Jesus came from the Father, full of grace and truth. We affirm that the Bible is God’s word, and strive as disciples to apply its eternal truths to our everyday lives. We acknowledge our deep, continual need for God's grace both in our own lives and in our relationships with one another.
Transformation: 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 WE BELIEVE
in the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, and that He is the agent of our transformation—both individually and corporately—into the image of Christ.
Outreach: Matthew 28:18-20 WE BELIEVE
that the Great Commission is for every generation. We are committed to sharing our faith through love, service, generosity, and overt outreach both locally and globally.
Relationships: John 13:34-35 WE BELIEVE
in striving toward ever deeper and more authentic relationships. We embrace the “one another way” and are committed to intentional mentoring to help us walk with God as disciples of Christ.
Diversity: Ephesians 2:11-22 WE BELIEVE
in building a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic, multi-generational church. In this, we collaboratively strive toward greater empathy and understanding of each other’s life experiences and deepest needs.
